NIGHT LIFE

PARAMOUR

San Antonio’s first rooftop bar, complete with swanky, modern décor and dramatic, panoramic city views, Paramour is also a great place to see-and-be-seen. In fact, this town is resplendent with laid-back icehouses and tequila bars. Sometimes it’s nice to have a reason to spend a little more time in front of the mirror before heading out for the evening. Bonus: The bartenders definitely know their business.

1919

1919 is a dimly lit speakeasy with strong drinks and a great happy hour. Best way to describe this cozy cocktail bar is “effortlessly chic,” and with good reason. This upscale, modern-day speakeasy employs only the best of the best behind the bar, and it shows in every drink they create. The selection of alcohol contained in such a small space is mind-blowing, as seen in the creativity on display. Try a seasonal cocktail or opt for a classic.

JAZZ TEXAS

This underground jewel at the Pearl Brewery shines bright with inventive cocktails and nightly live music. An extensive global wine, beer, and spirits selection accompanies a Southern-inspired menu. They both pair nicely with the live jazz, blues, salsa, and Texas swing showcased by the Pearl’s first-ever music venue. Open since July 2016, Jazz Texas hit the ground running with live music Tuesday through Saturday nights providing a steady stream of events to keep things interesting. Ten house cocktails offer a spin on classics, such as the Somewhere in South Texas, and a vodka gimlet made with spicy Dr. Pepper reduction and cilantro salt. With a variety of music, drinks, and dishes to tantalize your senses, we are positive a night at Jazz Texas will bring delight.
